This diagram was produced during the Cathedral construction. Several boreholes were dug to acertain the condition of the tunnel. As you can see it has mostly collapsed, but follows a path that would have taken it under St. James’ Mount. I have no record of this tunnel emerging anywhere. It’s a bit of a mystery!
